Tuberculosis in Myanmar Progress, Plans and Challenges

چکیده
TB is one of the top three priority diseases in the Ministry of Health’s National Health Plan. The National TB Programme (NTP) is implementing a National Strategic Plan for TB control, 2011-2015, based on evidence from a 2009-2010 nationwide TB prevalence survey, and in line with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Stop TB Strategy. The National Strategic Plan aims to accomplish the TB-related Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
